The FundéuRAE (''Fundéu'' being an acronym for es, Fundación del Español Urgente, lit=Foundation of Emerging Spanish) is a non-profit organization founded in February 2005 in Madrid, Spain. The foundation was created in collaboration with the Royal Spanish Academy (a government institution that standardizes Spanish) and under the Department of Urgent Spanish of Agencia EFE Agencia EFE, S.A. () is a Spanish international news agency, the major multimedia news agency in Spanish language and the world's fourth largest wire service after the Associated Press, Reuters, and Agence France-Presse. EFE was created in 1939 .... It took a new name, Fundéu BBVA, in 2008, and, after a short while with the original name, adopted in 2020 FundéuRAE. Word of the year The Word of the Year ( es, Palabra del Año) has been named since 2013 by the Fundéu in collaboration with the Royal Spanish Academy. Aporophobia
Aporophobia (from the Spanish ''aporofobia'', and this from the Ancient Greek ἄπορος (''áporos''), 'without resources, indigent, poor,' and φόβος (''phobos''), 'hatred' or 'aversion') are negative attitudes and feelings towards poverty and poor people. It is the disgust and hostility toward poor people, those without resources or who are helpless. by the philosopher Adela Cortina, professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy at the University of Valencia, to differentiate this attitude from xenophobia, which only refers to the rejection of foreigners, and racism, which is discrimination by ethnic groups. Agencia EFE, S.A. () is a Spanish international news agency, the major multimedia news agency in Spanish language and the world's fourth largest wire service after the Associated Press, Reuters, and Agence France-Presse. EFE was created in 1939 by Ramón Serrano Súñer, then Francoist faction's Interior Minister. Agencia EFE is a news agency that covers all areas of information in the news media of the press, radio, television and Internet.
