	Foothill High School (Orange County, California) Foothill High School is a public secondary school located in the unincorporated community of North Tustin, California. It has a mailing address of Santa Ana, but it is a part of the Tustin Unified School District. It is the only school in the Tustin Unified School District to offer the International Baccalaureate program. It is a recipient of multiple California Distinguished School and National Blue Ribbon School awards. History and culture Opened in September 1963 on of land, it is the second oldest high school in the Tustin Unified School District. Its name is derived from its literal position at the base of Cowan Heights and Lemon Heights in North Tustin. The school's colors are black and gold, and its mascot is the Knight. FHS offers 16 Advanced Placement courses, five International Baccalaureate Higher Level, and eight International Baccalaureate Standard Level courses. 	Brian Alexander (water Polo) Brian Alexander (born May 3, 1983) is a former American water polo player who was a member of the United States men's national water polo team. Playing career Youth and collegiate Alexander competed with Foothill High School, where he was named to the All-CIF Division I boys water polo team after scoring 91 goals in his senior year. Alexander played collegiate water polo at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He was named a 3rd team All-American in 2003 and 2004 while playing with the Gauchos. Professional Alexander started his professional career in Spain in 2005 with Spain's Aguas De Valencia. 	Jason Hairston Jason Hairston (July 17, 1971 – September 4, 2018) was an American businessman and American football player who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was the founder and CEO of Kuiu, a hunting gear company. Hairston grew up in Southern California. In high school, he was an All-Orange County defender at Foothill High School. He attended the University of California, Davis and, in 1993, was named a starting linebacker for UC Davis Aggies football. In his junior season, he broke his neck during a Division II playoff game, damaging his C5 and C6 vertebrae. In 1995, he was signed as an unrestricted free agent to the San Francisco 49ers. 	Bruce Furniss Bruce MacFarlane Furniss (born May 27, 1957) is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic gold medalist, and former world record-holder in four events. At the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, he won the 200-meter freestyle and was a member of the winning U.S. team in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay, both in world record time. Swimming career Furniss broke ten world and nineteen American records, and won eleven Amateur Athletic Union and six NCAA titles. He was an integral part of USC's NCAA National Collegiate Championship winning teams of 1976 and 1977.
