The festivals in Azerbaijan are held throughout the year in different regions of the country. The city of Baku is considered as the most important center of the festivals due to their scale and types. The festivals in each region, on the other hand, represent its own local characteristics mostly related to its food, fruit and so on. Baku International Jazz Festival Local jazz musician Rain Sultanov, later joined by 115 members from 34 different countries, set up the Baku International Jazz Festival, a musical festival that includes seminars and masterclasses, with a schedule of jazz performances and concerts. There is a competition for the "Best Jazz Performer" award, and exhibitions of art and photography. Attendees and contributors include many widely-known jazz performers from around the world. The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (Hebrew: התזמורת הסימפונית ירושלים, ''ha-Tizmoret ha-Simfonit Yerushalayim'') is a major orchestra of Israel. Since the 1980s, the JSO has been based in the Henry Crown Symphony Hall, part of the Jerusalem Theater complex. History The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, now in its 85rd season, was founded as the Palestine Broadcasting Service Orchestra in the late 1930s. In 1948 it became the national radio orchestra and was known as the “Kol Israel Orchestra”. Pomegranate molasses, also known as Dibs Ar-rumman ( ar, دبس الرمان, rakkaz rimonim he, רכז רימונים, robb-e anâr fa, رب انار, "pomegranate syrup"), and nar ekshisi ( tr, nar ekşisi, "pomegranate sour"), is a Middle Eastern seasoning consisting of concentrated pomegranate juice. It is usually used in fish and meat dishes, and also as a replacement for vinegar in salads. About The word narsharab (''narşərab''), from fa, انارشراب, (a)nârsharâb, literally means pomegranate wine, although it contains no alcohol. It contains 10% citric acid and 45% sugar. Goychay Pomegranate Festival
The Goychay Pomegranate Festival ( az, Göyçay nar festivalı) is an annual cultural festival that is held in Goychay, Azerbaijan. The festival features Azerbaijani fruit-cuisine mainly the pomegranates from Goychay. At the festival, a cultural parade is held with dances and music. In 2020, the Goychay Pomegranate Festival was inscribed in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO.
