Fedele Fischetti
Fedele Fischetti (30 March 1732 – 25 January 1792) was an Italian painter of the Neoclassical period. He was born and died in Naples the capital of the Kingdom of Naples. Biography F. Fischetti was mainly active as a fresco painter for palaces and villas in and around the city, including the Royal Palace at Portici. He painted frescoes of the seasons, ''Summer'' and ''Winter'', in the conversation rooms of the appartamento vecchio of the Royal Palace of Caserta. He was active all over Naples area between the 1750 ca until his last year of life. Paolo Girgenti (1767/69 – 1819) was an Italian painter of the late 18th and early 19th-centuries, active in Naples. He was born in Agrigento, Sicily, known in Sicilian language as ''Girgenti''. He studied, along with a Giuseppe Camerata from Sciacca, under Fedele Fischetti. He became the president of the Neapolitan Academy of Fine Arts at the beginning of the 19th century. He made a copy of Raphael's ''Repose in Egypt''. Giuseppe Camerata
Giuseppe Camerata (1718–1803) was an Italian miniaturist painter and engraver. Biography He was born at Frascati or at Venice, the son of G. Camerata, a painter of some reputation, and studied under Gregorio Lazzarini. He learned the technique of engraving from Giovanni Cattini, and after visiting Vienna in 1742, was in 1751 invited to assist in engraving the plates for the Dresden Gallery, and was there made principal engraver to the Court. He visited Italy again in later life, and subsequently came to Munich, where he settled for a time in 1763. He afterwards became professor in the Academy at Dresden, where he died. Giacinto Diano or Diana (28 March 1731 – 13 August 1803) was an Italian painter, active in Southern Italy in a style that mixes Rococo and Neoclassicism. Neoclassicism
Neoclassicism (also spelled Neo-classicism) was a Western cultural movement in the decorative and visual arts, literature, theatre, music, and architecture that drew inspiration from the art and culture of classical antiquity.
