Henry Stone (Comedian)
Henry Stone is an Australian comedian, writer, and director. Career Originating from Brisbane, Queensland, Stone began performing live comedy in his home town in 2009, the same year he also formed sketch comedy group, Skills in Time, with friends Greg Larsen and Sam Campbell. In 2015 Skills in Time produced a pilot for SBS Television, titled ''Looking Back''. In 2011, as a stand-up comedian Stone performed as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's "Comedy Zone", alongside Luke Heggie, Jennifer Wong, Ronny Chieng and Daniel Connell. In 2014 Stone and his new sketch group, Fancy Boy, wrote and performed ''Variety Show'' which went on to win the Golden Gibbo award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Anne Elizabeth Gabrielle Edmonds (born 11 October 1979) is an Australian comedian and actor best known for her stand-up work and for creating and starring in the ABC comedy series ''The Edge of the Bush''. Beginning her career in comedy at 29 (2010) after working in mental health in rural Australia, Edmonds uses her suburban background, singing/songwriting and storytelling to create a fearless, self-deprecating and often macabre stand up voice. ABC TV Plus (formerly ABC2 and ABC Comedy) is an Australian free-to-air television channel owned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and part of its ABC Television network. The channel broadcasts a range of general entertainment programming. Between the hours of 5am and 7.30pm daily, the channel's bandwidth is used for the ABC Kids channel for young children. Ronny Xin Yi Chieng (; born 21 November 1985) is a Malaysian comedian and actor. He is currently a senior correspondent on Comedy Central's ''The Daily Show'' and the creator and star of the ABC Australia sitcom '' Ronny Chieng: International Student''. Early life Ronny Xin Yi Chieng was born into a Malaysian Chinese family in Johor Bahru on 21 November 1985. He grew up in both Singapore and the United States; from 1989 to 1994, he lived in Manchester, New Hampshire. In his youth, he was a Singapore Sea Scout. Anna McGahan (born 2 May 1988) is an Australian actress and playwright, who has appeared in Australian television, film and theatre. She is best known for playing the roles of Nellie Cameron in the Australian television series, '' Underbelly: Razor'' (2011), Lucy in ''House Husbands'' (2012-2014), and Rose Anderson in The Doctor Blake Mysteries (2015-2018). Jack Charles (actor)
Jack Charles (5 September 1943 – 13 September 2022), also known as Uncle Jack Charles, was an Australian stage and screen actor and activist, known for his advocacy for Aboriginal people. He was involved in establishing the first Indigenous theatre in Australia, co-founding Nindethana Theatre with Bob Maza in Melbourne in 1971. His film credits include the Australian film ''The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith'' (1978), among others, and more recently appeared in TV series '' Cleverman'' (2016) and ''Preppers'' (2021). He spent many decades in and out of prison and as a heroin addict, which he ascribed largely to trauma that he experienced as a child, as one of the Stolen Generations.
