Faena Arts Center
Faena Art Center is the cultural center of the Faena District Buenos Aires, a residential and cultural community in the Puerto Madero waterfront in Buenos Aires developed by the Faena Group and opened in September 2011. Alan Faena founded the center. Ximena Caminos is the Executive Director. History of the Building & Renovation Faena Art Center was built out of one of Argentina’s first big flour mills. In what used to be the mill’s old machine room, the main exhibition space has been rebuilt to retain the original details from the 1900s. The spacious, light-filled center, which is over 4,000 m2, is housed by soaring ceilings, semicircular arches, bay windows and other hallmarks of turn-of-the-century industrial architecture. Line B (Buenos Aires Metro)
Line B of the Buenos Aires Underground runs from Leandro N. Alem to Juan Manuel de Rosas in Villa Urquiza. Line B opened to the public on 17 October 1930. In recent years, it has held the title of being the most used line of the Buenos Aires Underground, and its patronage has increased even more after the opening of a section of tunnel between Los Incas station in the neighbourhood of Parque Chas and a shopping centre in Villa Urquiza. It was the first line in Buenos Aires whose stations had turnstiles and moving stairways. Alan Roger Faena (born 28 November 1963, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine hotelier and real estate developer who has developed properties in his native Buenos Aires, as well as Miami Beach, Florida. Faena is the founder and President of Faena Group. He is a member of the Tate International Committee and the New Museum Leaders Council. Founder of the ocean-centric nonprofit BlueLab Preservation Society, CCO of HoneyLab Creative and founder of The ReefLine, a 7-mile underwater sculpture park and marine sanctuary in Miami Beach, and played pivotal roles in establishing cultural districts in Buenos Aires and Miami through Faena Art and The Underline. Ernesto Saboia de Albuquerque Neto ( in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a contemporary visual artist. Early career Ernesto Neto began exhibiting in Scotland in 1988 and has had solo exhibitions abroad since 1995. Franz Ackermann (born 1963 in Neumarkt-Sankt Veit, Bavaria) is a German painter and installation artist based in Berlin. He makes cartoonish Abstract art, abstraction. Life He attended the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich, Akademie der Bildenden Kunste in Munich from 1984 to 1988 and the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg from 1989 to 1991, where he studied under Bernhard J.
