FORTA
The Federation of Regional Organizations of Radio and Television ( es, Federación de Organismos de Radio y Televisión Autonómicos, FORTA) is the association of the public broadcasting networks from 12 autonomous communities of Spain. It was created on 5 April 1989. Members Non-members *Extremadura's CEXMA has not joined the FORTA by self-decision. The corporations of the autonomous cities of Ceuta ( RTVCE) and Melilla ( TVM) are not part of the FORTA either. *Four autonomous communities (Cantabria, Castile and León, La Rioja and Navarre) lack a public broadcasting network. There are region-wide private broadcasting networks in Cantabria (PopularTV Cantabria), Castile and León ( RTVCYL), La Rioja ( TVR) and Navarre ( NATV). Former members Valencia's regional broadcaster Ràdio Televisió Valenciana (RTVV) became defunct in 2013. Valencian Media Corporation
Valencian Media Corporation (in Valencian, Corporació Valenciana de Mitjans de Comunicació, and in Spanish, Corporación Valenciana de Medios de Comunicación), also known by its acronyms CVMC or VMC, is an agency of the Generalitat Valenciana, although with management autonomy and functional independence, in charge of producing and disseminating audiovisual products. Since 20 July 2016 is the successor of Radiotelevisió Valenciana, which was closed in 2013 by the ex-president Alberto Fabra by considering unaffordable the cost of staff readmission after justice considered illegal the layoff. The Ente Público de Radiotelevisión de Castilla-La Mancha (RTVCM), known under the brandname Castilla-La Mancha Media (CMM), is the regional public broadcasting service of Castilla–La Mancha, in Spain. Radio y Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA) is the public radio and television broadcaster of the Spanish Autonomous Community of Andalusia. The Catalan Media Corporation ( ca, Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals, CCMA; ) is the public radio and television company in Catalonia owned by Generalitat de Catalunya. The CCRTV is a public corporation created by the Generalitat de Catalunya by a Founding Act that passed the Parliament of Catalonia on May 18, 1983. It answers to the Parliamentary Control Commission and to the Catalan Audiovisual Council. It is funded through the Generalitat's General Budget as well as by income and yield from CCRTV's own activities. Telemadrid is a public regional television station in the Community of Madrid, Spain, the flagship channel of the regional public broadcaster Radio Televisión Madrid (RTVM). It began its broadcast on 2 May 1989. History First years Telemadrid was created when Joaquín Leguina (PSOE) was the regional president. TV3 (Catalonia)
TV3 () is the primary television channel of Catalan public broadcaster Televisió de Catalunya, a subsidiary of the CCMA. TV3 broadcasts programmes only in Catalan, with an optional dual track in the original language for some foreign-language series and movies, although Spanish is not dubbed or subtitled (for example during news broadcasts). Televisión Canaria is a Spanish free-to-air television network for the Canary Islands. Although the registered office and principal place of TV Canaria is located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. LaOtra ("TheOther") is the second television channel of the Radio Televisión Madrid public broadcasting network in the Community of Madrid, Spain.
