FK Haugesund
Fotballklubben Haugesund (English: ''Football Club Haugesund''), usually referred to as FK Haugesund or FKH, is a professional Norwegian football club from the city of Haugesund, Rogaland, Norway. The club currently plays in the Norwegian Eliteserien, the first tier in the Norwegian football league system, after having been promoted in the 2008-2009 season. FK Haugesund previously played in the top division in 1996-1998 and 2000. The club have been runners-up in the Norwegian Cup in 2007 and 2019 as well as having competed in the qualifying stages for the UEFA Europa League in 2014–15, 2017–18 and 2019–20. The club's best achievement in the national league is the bronze medal in Eliteserien in 2013, and fourth place in the 2016 and 2018-seasons. Haugesund Stadion, currently named Haugesund Sparebank Arena for sponsorship purposes, is a soccer-specific stadium in Haugesund, Norway. Haugesund Stadion is the home ground of Eliteserien team FK Haugesund and 2. divisjon team SK Vard Haugesund. Capacity History The first football field in Haugesund was Barneparken, located at the current Rådhusplassen and opened in 1911, costing 400 Norwegian krone. The pitch was uneven, underdimensioned and lacked proper locker rooms. The municipality found the venue unsuitable, and in 1918 bought a parcel of land at Sørhaug from Erik Jacobsen. The venue opened on 17 May 1920, as Haugesund kommunale idrettsplass. However, the municipality did not build a locker room, so the three clubs using the venue, Haugesund IL, SK av 1918 and Vard Haugesund each put up NOK 700 towards new facilities. Sportsklubben Djerv 1919 is an association football club located in Haugesund, Norway, established in 1919. The first team plays in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of Norwegian football, after being promoted from the 4. divisjon in 2018. History The club was founded on 26 March 1919. The year 1919 was added to the club name to distinguish the club from SK Djerv from Bergen. Djerv 1919 reached the semi-finals of the 1986 Norwegian Cup where they lost 1-0 to Tromsø. The team played its only season in the top division in 1988. In 1993, it merged its elite teams with Haugar to create FK Haugesund, but kept on playing in the lower leagues. In 2018, the team was promoted to the fourth tier of Norwegian football. Lillestrøm Sportsklubb is a Norwegian professional football club from the city of Lillestrøm, just outside of the capital Oslo. Lillestrøm SK is a Norwegian football club based in Lillestrøm, playing in Eliteserien. The club was founded in 1917, after the merger of two local football clubs. Ullevaal Stadion () is an all-seater football stadium located in Oslo, Norway. It is the home ground of the Norway national football team, and the site of the Norwegian Cup Final. From its opening in 1926 to 2009 it was the home ground of FK Lyn and from 1999 to 2017 was a home ground of Vålerenga IF. With a capacity of approximately 28,000, it is the largest football stadium in Norway. The national stadium is fully owned by the Football Association of Norway (NFF). Rune Skarsfjord (born 23 May 1970, in Narvik) is a Norwegian football coach and former manager of SK Brann. He was promoted to head coach after Steinar Nilsen was dismissed. Before signing for Brann, Skarsfjord worked as head coach for FK Haugesund and as an assistant coach for Rosenborg BK. He is also a former player. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Allsvenskan (; en, the All-Swedish, also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan, en, the Football All-Swedish) is a Swedish professional league for men's association football clubs. It was founded in 1924 and is the top tier of the Swedish football league system, operating on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide. Landskrona (old da, Landskrone) is a town in Scania, Sweden. Located on the shores of the Öresund, it occupies a natural port, which has lent the town at first military and subsequent commercial significance.
