FC Hermannstadt
Asociația Fotbal Club Hermannstadt (), commonly known as FC Hermannstadt, Hermannstadt or familiarly as Sibiu (), is a Romanian professional football club based in the city of Sibiu (german: Hermannstadt), Sibiu County, which currently competes in Liga I. The team was established in 2015 and introduced in the fourth division, with ''Hermannstadt'' being the equivalent of the city's name in the standard German language (i.e. Hochdeutsch). ''Roș-negrii'' achieved successive promotions and in 2018 reached the Liga I, the highest level of the Romanian football league system. During the same year, Hermannstadt also played a Cupa României final, which they lost 0–2 to Universitatea Craiova. Stadionul Municipal Sibiu (2022)
Sibiu Municipal Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Sibiu, Romania. FC Hermannstadt is the ground's tenant. The facility will also be used for a variety of other activities such as track and field and events. The stadium was inaugurated on December 10th, 2022, when the local team from Sibiu, FC Hermannstadt played against the Liga 1 1st placed team, FCV Farul Constanța, trained by Romanian superstar Gheorghe Hagi. Fotbal Club Voluntari (), commonly known as FC Voluntari or simply Voluntari, is a Romanian professional football club based in Voluntari, Ilfov County, which competes in the Liga I. 2018 Cupa României Final
The 2018 Cupa României Final was the final match of the 2017–18 Cupa României and the 80th final of the Cupa României, Romania's premier football cup competition. It was played on 27 May 2018 between Hermannstadt and Universitatea Craiova. Hermannstadt reached their first ever cup final in the third year of the club's existence. They are the 14th team, and the first in 36 years, to reach the final while not playing in the top league. This was the first final for Universitatea since 1991, and the first for a team from Craiova in 18 years. The winner qualified for the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League. They also earned the right to play against 2017–18 Liga I champions for the 2018 Supercupa României. The game was hosted by the Arena Națională stadium in Bucharest. The 2017–18 Liga II (also known as 2017–18 Liga II Casa Pariurilor) was the 78th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 5 August 2017 and ended on 2 June 2018. A total of 20 teams contested the league. It was the second Liga II season with a single series. The season was played in a round-robin tournament. The first two teams promoted to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed team played a play-off match against the 12th-placed team from Liga I. The last five teams relegated to Liga III. Clubul Sportiv Balotești, commonly known as CS Balotești or simply as Balotești, is a Romanian football club from Balotești, Ilfov County founded in 2006. They currently play in the Liga IV – Ilfov County, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system.
