FAI Futsal Cup
The FAI Futsal Cup is a cup competition organized by the Football Association of Ireland for futsal teams based in the Republic of Ireland. The winners qualify to represent the Republic of Ireland in the UEFA Futsal Cup. The competition was introduced in 2007 and the inaugural winners were Shamrock Rovers. The 2007 tournament was referred to as the Eircom U21 Futsal League and the 2008 and 2009 tournaments were referred to as the Futsal League of Ireland or the FAI National Futsal League. Since 2010 it has generally been referred to as the Ireland Futsal Union Cup. National Basketball Arena
National Basketball Arena, also known as Tallaght Arena, is an indoor sporting arena located in Tymon Park, Tallaght, South Dublin, adjacent to the M50 motorway. The capacity of the arena is 2,500 people and it opened in January 1993. It is used mainly for basketball events, but has also hosted other indoor sports, most notably futsal, as well as exhibitions, concerts and cultural events. Basketball The National Basketball Arena serves as the headquarters of Basketball Ireland. It also serves as the home court of the Ireland national basketball team, the Ireland women's national basketball team and Hibernia Basketball. Gary McCabe
Gary McCabe (born 1 August 1988) is a retired Irish footballer who last played for Bray Wanderers as a winger. Career McCabe began his youth career at Leinster Senior League side Crumlin United. His impressive performances in the youth and intermediate ranks did not go unnoticed and attracted interest from a number of League of Ireland clubs. McCabe was eventually snapped up by Premier Division outfit Bray Wanderers for the 2007 season. McCabe broke straight into Bray's first team that season making 24 league and cup appearances and scoring 2 goals helping the Seagulls to league safety with a 9th place league finish. Gary Kelly (footballer, Born 1974)
Gary Oliver Kelly (born 9 July 1974) is an Irish former footballer who played his entire professional career with Leeds United. He played as a right back or a right midfielder from 1992 until 2007 and made 531 appearances in total for Leeds, being the only player at Leeds to make more than 500 appearances from outside the stewardship of Don Revie. James Joseph McClean ( ; born 22 April 1989) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a winger for EFL Championship club Wigan Athletic and the Republic of Ireland national team. Séamus Coleman (; born 11 October 1988) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a right-back and captains both Premier League club Everton and the Republic of Ireland national team. David Meyler
David John Meyler (born 29 May 1989) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. After turning professional at League of Ireland team Cork City, Meyler moved to Sunderland in the Premier League in 2008. He joined Hull City in 2013 after a short loan spell. This is a list of footballers who have played for the Republic of Ireland national football team. The Irish Football Association (IFA) was formed in 1880, prior to the partition of Ireland. The original Ireland national team was selected by the IFA and included players from all of Ireland. Following the creation of the Irish Free State, the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) was set up and it picked its own national team. Until 1950, both Irish associations picked players from the whole of the island, which resulted in there being many dual Irish international footballers. Kevin Finbarr Long (born 18 August 1990) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for Major League Soccer club Toronto FC and the Republic of Ireland national team.
