Furkat Tursunov (; born 5 February 1991) is a Turkmen footballer who plays for Turkmen club Altyn Asyr. He was part of the Turkmenistan national team from 2012. Club career He began his professional career in 2011 in FC Lebap. From 2013 play for FC HTTU. International career Tursunow made his senior national team debut on 24 October 2012, in a 2012 VFF Cup match against Vietnam. The Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic, also known as Soviet Turkmenistan, the Turkmen SSR, TuSSR, Turkmenistan, or Turkmenia, was one of the Republics of the Soviet Union, constituent republics of the Soviet Union located in Soviet Central Asia, Central Asia existed as a republic from 1925 to 1991. 2013 Commonwealth of Independent States Cup was the 21st annual Commonwealth of Independent States Cup since its establishment in 1993. It was hosted in Saint Petersburg, Russia between 18 and 27 January 2013. The Commonwealth of Independent States Cup () is a defunct annual regional association football tournament, recognized by FIFA. The tournament was initially established for football clubs of the former Soviet Union republics in 1993 (a year later since the collapse). On several occasions, some national football organizations of the former Soviet republics as well as individual clubs refused participation in the tournament for different reasons.
