Christer Fuglesang
Arne Christer Fuglesang (born 18 March 1957) is a Swedish physicist and an ESA astronaut. He was first launched aboard the STS-116 Space Shuttle mission on 10 December 2006, making him the first Swedish citizen in space. Married with three children, he was a Fellow at CERN and taught mathematics at the Royal Institute of Technology before being selected to join the European Astronaut Corps in 1992. He has participated in two Space Shuttle missions and five Extra-vehicular activity, spacewalks, and is the first person outside of the United States or Russian space programs to participate in more than three spacewalks. Nils Jørgen Fuglesang (7 October 1918 – 29 March 1944), was a Norwegian Supermarine Spitfire pilot who was taken prisoner during the Second World War. He is notable for the part he took in the 'Great Escape' from Stalag Luft III in March 1944 and as one of the men re-captured and subsequently shot by the ''Gestapo''. Rolf Jørgen Fuglesang (31 January 1909 – 25 November 1988) was a Norwegian lawyer and politician. A member of Nasjonal Samling, he was the party's Secretary-General from 1933. During the German occupation of Norway in World War II, he served in the government of Vidkun Quisling as a secretary of state from 1940, and then as Minister of Culture and Enlightenment from 1942 until liberation in 1945. John Fugelsang
John Joseph Fugelsang (born September 3, 1969) is an American actor, comedian, writer, television host, political commentator and television personality. Early life and education Fugelsang was born on Long Island, New York. Of Danish, German, and Irish descent, he is the son of a former Carmelite nun and a former Franciscan friar. At New York University, Fugelsang attended the Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with a degree in Film and Television.
