Jane Froman
Ellen Jane Froman (November 10, 1907 – April 22, 1980) was an American actress and singer. During her thirty-year career, she performed on stage, radio and television despite chronic health problems due to injuries sustained in a 1943 plane crash. Her life story was told in the 1952 film '' With a Song in My Heart''. She was portrayed by Susan Hayward, who was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance. Michael Braverman Goodman Froman (born August 20, 1962) is an American lawyer who served as the U.S. Trade Representative from 2013 to 2017. He was Assistant to the President of the United States and Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economic Affairs, a position held jointly at the National Security Council and the National Economic Council. Adam Froman (born December 18, 1987) is a former American football quarterback who played one season with the Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League (AFL). He first enrolled at Santa Rosa Junior College before transferring to the University of Louisville. Froman was also a member of the Atlanta Falcons and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Ian Froman (born 6 May 1937) is a South African-born Israeli former tennis player and tennis patron. He is known for playing in the Wimbledon Championships in the 1950s, representing Israel in Davis Cup competition in the 1960s and 1970s, and playing a primary role in the founding of the Israel Tennis Centers in the 1970s and thereafter. Hadassah Froman is an Israeli peace activist. Early life and education Froman was raised in Lavi, a kibbutz in the Galilee, in an Orthodox Jewish family with right-wing politics. After serving in the army of the Israel Defense Forces, Froman attended Hebrew University, where she studied education. Career Froman primarily teaches Zohar, but in the past has worked both as a schoolteacher and as an adult educator. Activist Froman is a religious Zionist, and believes that the presence of Arabs in Israel-Palestine indicates that God wants the Jewish people to coexist with them.
