Frode Olsen
Frode Olsen (born 12 October 1967) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He earned 26 international caps for the Norway national team. During his career he played for clubs like Viking F.K., Stabæk IF, IK Start and Sevilla FC. He won the Kniksen award as goalie of the year three years in a row from 1997 to 1999. Career After retirement, he coached the Klepp IL women's team, then he commentated Spanish football on the Norwegian TV channel TV 2. After TV 2 lost the broadcasting contract for Spanish football, he began working as a studio analyst covering Tippeligaen. While being employed at TV 2, he was the sports director of Bryne FK between January and September 2008. Strømsgodset is a former municipality in Vestfold county (from 1964 Buskerud county) in Norway which is today a part of the city of Drammen. History Strømsgodset was originally a small rural annex to the city parish of Bragernes (Drammen). But since this annex belonged to the county of Vestfold, while the city belonged to the county of Buskerud, it had to be established as a formannskapsdistrikt of its own on 1 January 1838. Kniksen Award Winners
Roald Jensen (11 January 1943 – 6 October 1987), nicknamed "Kniksen", was one of Norway's most celebrated football players. He played for Brann and Heart of Midlothian ("Hearts"). ''Knicksen'' is a local Bergen word meaning "juggler". From an early age, Jensen was interested in football. He made his senior-team debut with Brann in 1960, while still only 17. He made his debut for the Norway national team the same year. Brann, with Jensen, won the league in 1961–62 and in 1963. After Brann's relegation in 1964, Jensen transferred to professional football in Scotland as Heart of Midlothian's first non-British player. While he was in Scotland, Jensen was unable to play for Norway, as the national team did not allow professional players at that time.
