''Free Man'' ( tr, ) is a 2011 Turkish biographical film, co-written, produced and directed by Mehmet Tanrısever, starring Mürşit Ağa Bağ as Muslim scholar Said Nursî. The film, which opened on at number 2 in the Turkish box office, had a gala premiere on at the Türker İnanoğlu Maslak (TİM) Show Center in Istanbul. Mehmet Tanrısever (born 1953 in Konya, Turkey) is a Turkish people, Turkish filmmaker and businessman, who is best known as the founder of Feza Film, which produced his films ''Abdullah from Minye'' (1989), ''The Exile (1992 film), The Exile'' (1992) and ''Free Man (film), Free Man'' (2011). Originally an industrialist by profession, Mehmet Tanrısever became a producer in 1989 with the establishment of Feza Film, stating that, "I first started filmmaking because I wanted to express an idea". Oaxaca Film Fest
Oaxaca FilmFest was an eight-day long international film festival that was permanently cancelled in 2022 without taking place, once it could no longer hide the fact that it devolved into a calculated scam to prey on unknowing filmmakers. At its start, the festival was held every autumn in the Mexican city of Oaxaca from 2010 - 2019, and again from 2021.
