''Free!'' is a Japanese anime television series produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do. The series is loosely based on the light novel, , written by Kōji Ōji, which received an honorable mention in the second Kyoto Animation Award contest in 2011 and was published in July 2013. The first season titled, ''Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club'' for international distribution, aired in Japan in 2013; and the second season titled, ''Free! - Eternal Summer'', aired in 2014. A third season of the anime series titled, ''Free! - Dive to the Future'', aired in 2018. Hiroko Utsumi directed the first two seasons, while season three was directed by Eisaku Kawanami. Free! Take Your Marks
is a 2017 Japanese animated film produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do based on the animated television series ''Free!'', which aired from 2013 to 2014. It is a sequel of ''Free! Eternal Summer'' and is the final part of ''Free! Timeless Medleys film trilogy project, consisting of an all-new original story that serves as a direct continuation to the compilation films. It is told in four episodic parts. Plot : Haruka Nanase, joined by Makoto Tachibana, looks for an apartment in Tokyo as he prepares to enter college. Kisumi Shigino, whose uncle owns a rental agency, helps him lease an apartment close to a pool. High Speed! Free! Starting Days
is a 2015 Japanese anime, animated film produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do. The plot is loosely based on the second volume of the ''High Speed!'' light novels by Koji Oji, the series that inspired the ''Free!'' animated series. The film centers on Haruka Nanase as a junior high student, where he and his friends learn the meaning of teamwork as they join the swim team. ''High Speed! Free! Starting Days'' was released nationwide in Japanese theaters on December 5, 2015, to moderate success, ranking #5 on its opening weekend and being nominated for Best Picture in the Newtype Anime Awards. is a 2017 Japanese anime, animated film series produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do. The first two films, and , are compilation films of ''Free!s second season, ''Free! Eternal Summer'', with new additional footage and redone scenes. A third film, ''Free! Tatsuhisa Suzuki
is a Japanese voice actor and singer. A former lead vocalist of Oldcodex, he used his stage name Ta_2. Biography '' Shūkan Bunshun'' reported that Suzuki was engaged to Lisa in May 2019.
