Frans Krajcberg
Frans Krajcberg (12 April 1921 – 15 November 2017) was a Polish-born Brazilian painter, sculptor, engraver and photographer. Krajcberg found peace after World War II through nature, and after moving to São Paulo in 1948 his connection with the natural world drove him to use mixed-medium art for environmental activism from the 1960s onward.Krajcberg, Frans, Luiz Garrido, Max Perlingeiro, Galciani Neves, and issuing body Pinakotheke Cultural. Kozienice
Kozienice (; ''Kozhnits'') is a town in eastern Poland with 21,500 inhabitants (1995). Located four miles from the Vistula, it is the capital of Kozienice County. Even though Kozienice is part of Lesser Poland, it is situated in the Masovian Voivodeship (since 1999); previously, it was in Radom Voivodeship (1975–1998) and in Kielce Voivodeship (1919–1939, 1945–1975). Chico Mendes
Francisco Alves Mendes Filho, better known as Chico Mendes (; 15 December 1944 – 22 December 1988), was a Brazilian rubber tapper, trade union leader, and environmentalist. He fought to preserve the Amazon rainforest, and advocated for the human rights of Brazilian peasants and Indigenous people. He was assassinated by a rancher on 22 December 1988. The Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation ( or ICMBio), a body under the jurisdiction of the Brazilian Ministry of the Environment, is named in his honor. The Rio Negro ( "''Black River''"), or Guainía as it is known in its upper part, is the largest left tributary of the Amazon River (accounting for about 14% of the water in the Amazon basin), the largest blackwater river in the world, and one of the world's ten List of rivers by discharge, largest rivers by average discharge. Pierre Restany (22 June 1930 – 29 May 2003), was an internationally known French art critic and cultural philosopher. Restany was born in Amélie-les-Bains-Palalda, Pyrénées-Orientales, and spent his childhood in Casablanca. On returning to France in 1949 he attended the Lycée Henri-IV before studying at universities in France, Italy and Ireland. From their first meeting in 1955, Restany maintained a strong tie with Yves Klein (to whom is attributed Klein-blue). Nova Viçosa is a municipality in the state of Bahia in the North-East region of Brazil. It was "discovered" in 1720 and became a municipality in 1962.
