Francisco Macedo (racing Driver)
Francisco Macedo (born 15 February 2008) is a Portuguese racing driver from Braga. He is set to compete in the 2025 Eurocup-3 season with Campos Racing. Career Karting Macedo joined the European karting scene in late 2021, where he made appearances in two IAME series. He followed this with a full year of European karting in 2022. Macedo had a tough year, with a 23rd-placed championship finish in the IAME Winter Cup being the best result he would achieve over the course of the year. He contested the Karting European Championship, and the Karting World Championship at the end of the year. For 2023, Macedo would step up to senior karting, and he had a much more successful year. He finished 22nd overall in the Karting European Championship, and 34th in the Champions of the Future series. The Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals (RMC) is a kart racing series owned and organized worldwide by Rotax, BRP-Rotax and its distributors, approved and in compliance with Commission Internationale de Karting, CIK-FIA. Competition takes place on a club, national and international level which culminates in the Grand Finals once a year. OK-Junior is a kart racing class for top drivers aged 11 to 15 (drivers must reach the age of 12 within the first semester of calendar year). This class used to be called Junior Intercontinental A (JICA or ICA-J) and has changed since January 2007 when CIK- FIA decided to replace the 100 cc air-cooled two-stroke engines with 125 cc Touch-and-Go (TaG) water-cooled two-stroke engines (KF type).The engines produce .
