Francis Ngai
Ngai Wah Sing Francis () is a Hong Kong entrepreneur and venture philanthropist. He is the Founder and CEO of Social Ventures Hong Kong (SVhk), a venture philanthropic organisation, and co-founded several Hong Kong social enterprises, including Green Monday, RunOurCity and Playtao Foreverland. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Asia Venture Philanthropy Network. Ngai was recognised as The Purpose Economy's 100 Asia Pioneers in 2014, a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in 2012 and chosen as one of Hong Kong's Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2011. Ngai graduated from the City University of Hong Kong and was conferred as an Honorary Fellow by the University in 2013. He is also an avid marathoner. 4 Deserts
The 4 Deserts Ultramarathon Series is an annual series of four 250-kilometer (155-mile) races across deserts around the globe. The races were recognized as the world's leading endurance footrace series by ''TIME'' magazine in 2009 and 2010, as the "Ultimate test of human endurance". The series was founded by American Mary K Gadams who founded RacingThePlanet in 2002. The Gobi March, the series' inaugural race, was held in the Gobi Desert of western China in 2003. Over the following three years, an additional race was introduced in a new location each year. In 2004, the Atacama Crossing was held in the Atacama Desert of Chile. North Pole Marathon
The North Pole Marathon is run over the classic marathon distance at the North Pole. The race is run on small, loop about 10 times over hard snow or the frozen ice of the Arctic Ocean. There are individual competitions with male and female divisions, and a team competition for teams of three or more. There is also an option to run a half marathon. Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (TOYP) program serves to formally recognize young people who excel in their chosen fields and exemplify the best attributes of the world's young people. The program is sponsored by Junior Chamber International (JCI). Young men and women may be nominated in one of ten categories. An international panel of judges then selects up to ten honorees, who are chosen from all of the nominations, regardless of category entered.
