''Foreverywhere'' is an album of children's music by American musician and former ''Blue's Clues'' host Steve Burns that he recorded alongside longtime collaborator Steven Drozd under the band name STEVENSTEVEN. Background After Drozd helped Burns record his first solo album, ''Songs for Dustmites'', the two musicians became friends. A few years later, the duo recorded a children's song called "I Hog the Ground" for the Nickelodeon show ''Jack's Big Music Show'' and enjoyed themselves so much that they decided to create a children's album together. "We deliberately took kiddie-cliché ideas and tried to elevate them, which is why there's a unicorn and a rainbow princess," Burns said about the album. "The kids I've met are very emotionally complex people. I just don't think that there's much difference between what makes music great for adults and what makes music great for kids." Steven Drozd
Steven Gregory Drozd (born June 11, 1969) is an American musician and actor. He is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter for the Flaming Lips, Electric Würms, and other projects. Early life Drozd was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Richmond and Rosenberg, Texas, with three brothers and a sister. He attended George Junior High & BF Terry High School. His father, Vernon, was a member of the polka band Vernon Drozd and the Texas Brass. At the age of ten, he began playing drums with his father's band and later played piano in various country honky-tonk groups. After high school, Drozd moved to Oklahoma City and performed, mainly on drums, with a number of underground bands in the area. The Flaming Lips Drozd joined the Flaming Lips in 1991 as a drummer. While his style is influenced by the drum sounds of the 1970s, his time spent with his father's polka band helped him develop a sense of delicacy and syncopation. ''Songs for Dustmites'' is the debut album by American musician, actor and former ''Blue's Clues'' host Steve Burns. It was released on August 12, 2003, by PIAS America. The album was produced by Dave Fridmann, member of alternative rock band Mercury Rev and the producer of most of the albums by The Flaming Lips; and Ed Buller. After quitting ''Blue's Clues'', Burns, "in a position where ecould do what ewanted", decided to collaborate with Fridmann and other members of The Flaming Lips. After receiving multiple offers from various record labels, Burns chose PIAS America. ''Songs for Dustmites'' is a pop/rock or indie rock album, and its lyrics are mostly about "science and love". It received positive reviews from music critics, although some of them believed that the album was only good because of his collaborations. ''Jack's Big Music Show'' is an American musical children's television series produced for the Noggin channel. It was created and executive produced by David Rudman, Todd Hannert, and Adam Rudman through their company Spiffy Pictures. The main character is a young puppet musician named Jack who has a musical clubhouse in his backyard. The premiere episode was simulcast on both Noggin and its sister channel, Nickelodeon, on September 12, 2005.
