Flipp is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1994, founded by singer/guitarist/producer Brynn Arens. They were signed to Hollywood Records and later Artemis Records, releasing 3 studio albums up until their dissolution in 2003. The band were known for their MTV presence in the 1990s as well as its theatrical live show which included cartoonish personas, face paint, smoking guitar amps, jet-packs, pillow feathers, cereal, pulling unsuspecting concert goers onstage to perform with the band, and other such stunts. As of 2016, the band have reunited and remain active to this day. Drew Fortier
Drew Fortier is an American musician and filmmaker. He is best known for his work with the Lucid; which he cofounded alongside Vinnie Dombroski (Sponge (band), Sponge), David Ellefson (ex Megadeth), and Mike Heller (Fear Factory). He was guitarist for the now late Chuck Mosley (Faith No More). He has directed and edited the documentary Attack of Life: The Bang Tango Movie as well as the David Ellefson produced horror film ''Dwellers (film), Dwellers'' which Fortier also wrote and stars in. He is the author of ''Dark, Depressing, and Hilarious'' which is an autobiography on his career thus far. Biography Fortier was raised in Chicago. Kii Arens (born May 7, 1967) is an American contemporary, pop-artist, graphic designer and director. He is the owner of La-La Land Gallery in Los Angeles. In 2021 Arens was part of the dearMoon project and created numerous Non-fungible token art pieceto commemorate the designated SpaceX Starship, a trip funded by entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa. Early life Kii Monroe Arens was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Robert and LaVae Arens. He has two brothers and one sister. From an early age, Arens had an affinity for morning cartoons, notably Sid and Marty Krofft. The show, coupled with his interest in fonts, colors, spacing and layout, set in motion a growing fascination with art and design. Conrad Uno
Conrad Uno is an American record producer and founder of the independent record label PopLlama Records. Uno began his career making his own music as a teenager in his makeshift basement studio. At the request of his friends, the Young Fresh Fellows, Uno produced their debut album ''The Fabulous Sounds of the Pacific Northwest''. When the band decided to release their debut album themselves, Uno founded PopLlama Records to help with the release. Kik Tracee
Kik Tracee was an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California. It was formed in 1988 during the last years of the glam metal movement, before the influx of grunge and alternative rock. History The band was formed in a Los Angeles suburb in 1988 by guitarists Gregory "Hex" Offers and Michael Marquis, bassist Rob Grad, and drummer Scott Donnell. The four had played the Los Angeles club scene from the age of 16. Singer Stephen Shareaux hailed from Minneapolis, MN, and joined the group that would become Kik Tracee. Stephen Shareaux is an American singer best known as lead vocalist for the hard rock band Kik Tracee. He is also a solo artist as well as lead vocalist and co-founder of alternative rock band Zen from Mars which includes members of Bang Tango, Enuff Z'Nuff, Flipp, and Fear Factory. Artemis Records was a New York–based independent record label, founded in June 1999 by Danny Goldberg with Daniel Glass as president, and closed in April 2006. The label was acquired by E1 Entertainment. As of 2006, Artemis Records was owned by Sheridan Square Entertainment LLC (SSE), an independent music company then based in New York. In November 2005, Richard Branson sold the North America division of his V2 Records label to SSE for $15 million. Sheridan Square then merged all of its labels, including Artemis Records, into V2 North America. V2 North America, and subsequently Artemis, was shuttered in January 2007 following a restructuring. ZFM (short for Zen From Mars) is an American recording project formed in 2015 by members of Bang Tango, Kik Tracee, Enuff Z'Nuff, Flipp, and Fear Factory. Edgefest was an annual outdoor rock festival in Canada. It was founded by staff members of Toronto radio station CFNY-FM. From 1987 to 2015, the festival was held every year in the summer (except for 2007). The festival was most frequently held on Canada Day at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario or a venue in Toronto. MTV News was the news production division of MTV. The service was available in the US with localized versions on MTV's global network and an online news team. Boy Band
A boy band is a vocal group consisting of young male singers, usually in their Teenage, teenage years or in their twenties at the time of formation.
