James Elroy Flecker
James Elroy Flecker (5 November 1884 – 3 January 1915) was a British novelist and playwright. As a poet, he was most influenced by the Parnassian poets. Biography Herman Elroy Flecker was born on 5 November 1884 in Lewisham, London, to William Herman Flecker (d. 1941), headmaster of Dean Close School, Cheltenham, and his wife Sarah. His much younger brother was the educationalist Henry Lael Oswald Flecker (1896–1958), who became Headmaster of Christ's Hospital. Flecker later chose to use the first name "James", either because he disliked the name "Herman" or to avoid confusion with his father. "Roy", as his family called him. was educated at Dean Close School, and then at Uppingham. He subsequently studied at Trinity College, Oxford, and at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. Hugo Flecker
Hugo Flecker (7 December 1884 – 25 June 1957) was an Australian medical practitioner, radiotherapist, toxicologist and natural historian. He founded the North Queensland Naturalist Club in 1932, whose herbarium grew into the now heritage-listed Flecker Botanical Gardens in Cairns, Queensland. He identified the deadly box jellyfish, ''Chironex fleckeri''. Early life Hugo Flecker was born in Melbourne, Victoria in 1884. Florian Flecker (born 29 October 1995) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Austrian Bundesliga club LASK. Career Early career Flecker began his career at SVU Murau. In 2010, he moved to the youth department of Kapfenberger SV. From the season 2012–13, he played for the club's third team, ASC Rapid Kapfenberg, in the fifth-tier Oberliga.
