Flamebird Nightwing
Flamebird is the name used by six different fictional comic book characters who have appeared in books published by DC Comics, specifically from the ''Superman'' and ''Batman'' mythos. The primary character to use the Flamebird name is Bette Kane, who was the pre-'' Crisis'' hero Bat-Girl. However, the original pre-''Crisis'' Flamebird was Jimmy Olsen, who was later succeeded by a Kandorian scientist. In post-''Crisis'', a Kryptonian hero used the name Flamebird, and in a " One Year Later" storyline, so has Kara Zor-El. Flamebird characters are also often associated with characters who use the name Nightwing. "One Year Later" is a 2006 comic book storyline running through books published by DC Comics. It involves a narrative jump exactly one year into the future of the DC Universe following the events of the '' Infinite Crisis'' storyline, to explore major changes within the continuities of many different comic books within the DC Comics library. Synopsis Following the events of the '' Infinite Crisis'' storyline, every ''DC Comics'' series jumped ahead in-story by one year. The events of the missing year were depicted in real time in the weekly comic book series '' 52''. Doug Mahnke
Douglas Mahnke () is an American comic book artist, known for his work and penciling books including '' The Mask'', '' JLA'', ''Batman'', ''Final Crisis'', and ''Green Lantern''. Career Mahnke's first prominent work was for '' The Mask'', and he has since worked for DC Comics on '' JLA'', ''Batman'' with writer Judd Winick, and '' Seven Soldiers: Frankenstein'' with Grant Morrison. Mark Schultz (; born June 7, 1955) is an American writer and illustrator of books and comics. His most widely recognized work is the creator-owned comic book series ''Xenozoic Tales'', which describes a post-apocalyptic world where dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures coexist with humans. In 1993, ''Xenozoic Tales'' was adapted into an animated series titled '' Cadillacs and Dinosaurs'' and a video game of the same name. Schultz's other notable works include various ''Aliens'' comic book mini-series published by Dark Horse and a four-year run on the DC Comics series '' Superman: The Man of Steel''. In 2004, Schultz took over the scripting duties of the '' Prince Valiant'' comic strip. Dick Grayson
Richard John "Dick" Grayson is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with Batman and Teen Titans. Created by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane, he first appeared in ''Detective Comics'' #38 in April 1940 as the original and most popular incarnation of Robin, Batman's crime-fighting partner.
