''Fix Me'' is the debut studio album by Canadian rock band Marianas Trench, released on October 3, 2006. Background On January 8, 2003, it was announced the band had signed to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger's 604 Records label. The album reflects the drug addiction struggle of lead vocalist Josh Ramsay. ''Fix Me'' was recorded at Factory Studios and Mushroom Studios in Vancouver and at The Umbrella Factory in Richmond, British Columbia. The album was engineered and mixed by Mike Fraser while production was handled by the band themselves and by Dave Genn. ''Fix Me'' failed to enter the Canadian Albums Chart, selling 35,000 copies in Canada. Singles "Say Anything" was released as the lead single from the album on June 13, 2006. Marianas Trench (band)
Marianas Trench are a Canadian pop rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, formed in 1999 by Josh Ramsay (lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, pianist) and lead guitarist Steve Marshall with Ramsay's sister Sara on keyboards and vocals, Erik Scott on drums and Trev Spilchen on bass. Originally called Ramsay Fiction, Marshall suggested a name change when Ramsay's high school friend Matt Webb, drummer Ian Casselman and Morgan Hempstead on bass, replaced Spilchen and Sara Ramsay. Mike Ayley, a long time friend of Casselman took up bass responsibilities when Hempstead and Marshall left the band in 2004, taking the 5 piece down to 4. Mark Maryanovich is a Canadian photographer and artist. He is known primarily for his photography in the music industry. Biography Born in Windsor, Ontario and raised in Kamloops, British Columbia, Maryanovich relocated to Montreal, Quebec in 1995, where he met and was mentored by fashion photographer Raphael Mazzucco. In 1996, Maryanovich's career as a photographer began in Vancouver, British Columbia, and over the next fifteen years he shot with various artists such as Colin James, Gordie Johnson (Big Sugar), Tom Wilson (Junkhouse), Ryan Dahle (Limblifter, Age of Electric) and The Tea Party. George Marino
George Marino (April 15, 1947 – June 4, 2012) was an American mastering engineer known for working on albums by rock bands starting in the late 1960s. Biography Marino was born on April 15, 1947, in the New York City borough The Bronx. He attended Christopher Columbus High School there and learned to play the saxophone and bass fiddle in the high school band and was classically trained on guitar. Marino broke into the music business as a guitarist playing rock and roll in local New York City bands such as The Chancellors and The New Sounds Ltd. until most of the band members were drafted into the service for the war in Vietnam. In 1967, Marino landed his first job in the industry as a librarian and assistant at Capitol Studios. Queen (band)
Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass).
