''Stone Crazy'' is the second studio album by American hip hop duo The Beatnuts. It was released on June 24, 1997, via Relativity Records. Recording sessions took place at Worldwide Studios. Produced solely by the Beatnuts, it features guest appearances from Big Pun, Blaq Poet, Cuban Link, Don Gobbi, Gab Gotcha, Horny Man and Hostyle. Member Fashion left the group to pursue a solo career and is not featured on the album. The album reached number 154 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and number 38 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in the United States, and is considered their breakthrough album. Beautiful People are a United Kingdom, British techno-dance music, dance group. Having been granted permission to sample any Jimi Hendrix song they wished, they released "If 60's Was 90's". Originally released in 1992 in just the United Kingdom, a similarly named album, ''If 60's Were 90's'', was also issued. Felix Delgado (born December 18, 1974), better known by his stage name Cuban Link, is a Cuban-American rapper. Emerging from the underground hip hop scene in the Bronx, he came to prominence upon discovery by fellow Bronx rapper Fat Joe and mentorship from his close friend Big Pun, and thereafter guest appeared on Pun's 1998 album Capital Punishment. He is also known for being a member of the Bronx-based rap group Terror Squad. In 1997, Cuban Link made his first on-record performance on the single " Off the Books" by The Beatnuts. Patrice Louise Rushen (born September 30, 1954) is an American jazz pianist, R&B singer, record producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and music director. Steve Swallow (born October 4, 1940) is an American jazz bassist and composer, known for his collaborations with Jimmy Giuffre, Gary Burton, and Carla Bley. He was one of the first jazz double bassists to switch entirely to electric bass guitar. James Dewitt Yancey (February 7, 1974 – February 10, 2006), better known by the stage names J Dilla and Jay Dee, was an American record producer, composer and rapper.
