Filthy Note
Filthy Note Records was a record label that concentrated on rock and metal bands. Filthy Note was founded by Bam Margera in 2006. History The label was launched in United States in 2006. It was formed after creator Bam Margera saw the band Vains of Jenna play at a club in Hollywood. After seeing Vains of Jenna play, Margera instantly realized he needed to create a record label and get the music he liked heard. He offered to sign Vains of Jenna to the label, which they agreed to. Since then, Bam has also signed English heavy metal band, Viking Skull, of which his brother Jess, is the drummer for. The band was flown to Margera's estate and recorded their album '' Chapter Two'' at his home studio. He also signed rock band The Moxy and since then Bam has directed their music video for the song Step Down and the band have released a 5-song EP. 2011 The record label has been closed by Bam. Brandon Cole "Bam" Margera ( ; born September 28, 1979) is an American former professional skateboarder, stunt performer, television personality, and filmmaker. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s as one of the stars of the MTV reality stunt show '' Jackass'' and subsequent sequels. Ferret Music was an American independent record label turned Warner Music Group subsidiary, founded in 1996. The label is owned by NORA's vocalist, Carl Severson, and based in West Windsor, New Jersey. Ferret recently started an imprint called New Weathermen Records. Warner Music Group's Alternative Distribution Alliance acquired a stake in Ferret Music in August, 2006, and as a result is currently distributed by Fontana Distribution, Alternative Distribution Alliance and eOne Music. Vains Of Jenna
Vains of Jenna was a Swedish sleaze rock/metal band formed in Falkenberg in 2005. They later moved to Los Angeles, though most of the band members now reside back in Sweden. In January 2012, the band confirmed on Facebook and MySpace that they had "mutually and amicably" decided to disband. History Vains of Jenna was formed by four young men from Sweden. At that time, the two youngest members of the band were 18 years old. They were offered a chance to play at Crüe Fest Hollywood in January 2005. The band accepted and traveled to California for the show. Only one disc had been recorded at that time: a four-song demo containing "No One's Gonna Do It for You", "Hard to Be Vain", "Heartbreak Suicide", and "A.S.A.D." Viking Skull
Viking Skull are an English hard rock band originally from Corby, Northamptonshire. Formed in 2002, the band currently features vocalist and guitarist Roddy Stone, guitarists Frank Regan and Dom Wallace, bassist Kevin "Waldie" James and drummer Jess Margera. Founded by Stone, Regan and Waldie with guitarist Darren Smith and drummer Gordon Morrison, the group were initially intended as a semi-comedic support band for Raging Speedhorn, which featured some of Viking Skull's members. After releasing '' Chapter One'' and '' Born in Hell'', Viking Skull came closing to breaking up when Smith and Morrison left the band in 2006. Jesse Margera (born August 28, 1978) is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer of the rock band CKY, which he co-founded in 1997. Prior to CKY, Margera performed in the band Foreign Objects with former CKY vocalist and guitarist Deron Miller, and he has since worked with Gnarkill, Viking Skull, The Company Band and Fuckface Unstoppable. Margera has also appeared in the ''CKY'' video series and the '' Viva La Bam'' and '' Jackass'' television series alongside his brother Bam.
