Pakistan–Philippines relations refers to bilateral relations between Pakistan and the Philippines. History The Philippines established diplomatic relations with Pakistan on September 8, 1949, through the opening of a Philippine Consulate in Pakistan. Pervez Musharraf (11 August 1943 – 5 February 2023) was a Pakistani general and politician who served as the tenth president of Pakistan from 2001 to 2008. Presidential elections in the Philippines were held on May 10, 2010. The incumbent President of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, was ineligible to seek re-election as per the 1987 Constitution.
