Patrick Huard
Patrick Huard (born January 2, 1969) is a Canadian actor, writer and comedian from Quebec. Career Huard broke into the Quebec show business scene in 1989 as a comedian, actor and television personality, with success as a stand-up comedian in the early 1990s. He had his first film role in the 1997 film ''Heads or Tails (1997 film), Heads or Tails (J’en suis!)'', attaining greater success the following year with a recurring role as a hockey player in the ''Les Boys'' franchise. With François Flamand, he launched the theatre troupe Le Nouveau Theatre Insolite, which debuted with a French-language adaptation of Eric Bogosian's ''Talk Radio (play), Talk Radio'' in 1997, with Huard in the lead role. He cemented his credentials as the co-star and co-writer of ''Bon Cop, Bad Cop'', now the most successful domestic film at the box office in the history of Canadian cinema. Daniel Boucher (born October 7, 1971) is a List of Quebec musicians, Québécois musician. Born in Montreal, he has released three studio albums; ''Dix Mille Matins'' on October 12, 1999, ''La patente'' on February 24, 2004, and ''Le soleil est sorti'' on November 11, 2008. From his own saying, "Le soleil est sorti" is his favourite of them. In 2006, he portrayed Renfield in the Québec production of ''Dracula - Entre l'amour et la mort''. 13th Jutra Awards
The 13th Jutra Awards were held on March 13, 2011 to honour films made with the participation of the Quebec film industry in 2010. Nominations were announced on February 9.Marc Cassivi"Soirée des Jutra: Incendies, favori d'un cru relevé" '' La Presse'', February 9, 2011. The ceremony was dominated by Denis Villeneuve's ''Incendies'' which received eleven nominations in ten categories. Prix Iris For Best Sound
The Prix Iris for Best Sound () is an annual film award presented by Québec Cinéma as part of the Prix Iris awards program, to honour the year's best sound in feature films made within the Cinema of Quebec. Unlike some film awards, Québec Cinéma does not present separate awards for overall sound and sound editing, but instead honours the full sound team in a single category; however it does also present a distinct category for Best Sound in a Documentary. Until 2016, it was known as the Jutra Award for Best Sound in memory of influential Quebec film director Claude Jutra. Following the withdrawal of Jutra's name from the award, the 2016 award was presented under the name Québec Cinéma. The Prix Iris name was announced in October 2016.
