Fences (band)
Fences is an American indie rock band from Seattle, Washington formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Christopher Mansfield, guitarist Benjamin Greenspan, bassist and vocalist Lindsey Starr and drummer Elliott Garm Chaffee. They released their debut studio album ''Fences (album), Fences'' in 2010 and ''Lesser Oceans'' in 2015. History Christopher Mansfield was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, the youngest in a family of ten children. He attended Berklee College of Music. In 2009, his debut EP, ''Ultimate Puke'', was discovered via Myspace by Sara Quin of popular Canadian indie band Tegan & Sara. Quin ended up producing, recording and adding vocals to his self-titled debut album, ''Fences (Album), Fences'', released on September 28, 2010. ''Fences'' went on to make the ''SPIN Magazine, SPIN'' magazine's year-end list of "Albums You May Have Missed" in 2010. Against Me!
Against Me! is an American punk rock band, formed in 1997 in Naples, Florida, by singer and guitarist Laura Jane Grace. That same year, Grace moved to Gainesville, Florida, which is considered the band's hometown. Since 2001, the band's lineup has also included guitarist James Bowman (musician), James Bowman. Alexei Saba Mohajerjasbi (born December 10, 1981), better known by his stage name Sabzi, is an American Hip hop music, hip hop record producer, producer and Disc jockey, DJ from Seattle, Washington (state), Washington, who is currently based in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California. Of Monsters and Men is an Icelandic indie folk/Folk rock, rock band formed in Garðabær in 2010. Jacquire King
Jacquire King (born January 11, 1967) is an American record producer, recording engineer and mixer. King has worked with such notable artists as Zach Bryan, Kings of Leon, Tom Waits, James Bay, Kaleo, Modest Mouse, Shania Twain, Buddy Guy, Norah Jones, Of Monsters and Men, Cold War Kids, Punch Brothers, City and Colour, Robert Ellis, Dawes and others. His work has received more than 40 Grammy Award nominations to date. Career King had his initial training in recording engineering at Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio. Christopher Ryan Walla (born November 2, 1975) is an American musician, record producer, and film music composer, best known for being a former guitarist and songwriter for the band Death Cab for Cutie. Musical career Early bands While at Bothell High School in the early 1990s, Walla started a program called Open Microphone with creative writing teacher Laura Drumheller, as a noon-time forum for the arts, which allowed any student to take the stage and perform. Walla regularly performed at these shows, as well as serving as MC. One performance by Walla included a song by Talking Heads. These early Open Microphone shows proved popular and continued for over twenty years, moving from Bothell High School to Inglemoor High School when teacher Drumheller transferred there.
