A fake building (also known as a fake house, false-front house, fake façade, or transformer house in specific situations) is a government building, structure, or public utility housing that uses urban and/or suburban camouflage, specifically with the intention to disguise equipment and city infrastructure facilities that some may consider aesthetically unpleasing in non-industrial neighborhoods. Transformer
In electrical engineering, a transformer is a passive component that transfers electrical energy from one electrical circuit to another circuit, or multiple Electrical network, circuits. A varying current in any coil of the transformer produces a varying magnetic flux in the transformer's core, which induces a varying electromotive force, electromotive force (EMF) across any other coils wound around the same core. Electrical energy can be transferred between separate coils without a metallic (conductive) connection between the two circuits. Spotswood Pumping Station
Scienceworks is a science museum in Spotswood, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. It is one of three museums operated by Museums Victoria. Displays and activities offered by the museum include hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and tours. Scienceworks is housed in a purpose-built building "styled along industrial lines" near the historic Spotswood Pumping Station, constructed in 1897, whose steam engines form an associated exhibit. The pumping station forms part of the museum complex. History Scienceworks opened on 27 March 1992, and was opened by then-Premier Joan Kirner. Its first permanent exhibitions were ''Inventions'', ''Energy'', ''Travel'' and ''Materials''. The Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks opened in 1999. Interborough Rapid Transit Company
The Interborough Rapid Transit Company (IRT) was the private operator of New York City's original underground subway line that opened in 1904, as well as earlier elevated railways and additional rapid transit lines in New York City.
