FK Baník Ratíškovice
FK Baník Ratíškovice is a football club from the South Moravian village of Ratíškovice, Czech Republic. It currently plays in the regional division. Baník Ratíškovice played in the Czechoslovak Second League in the 1959–1960 and 1962–1963 seasons; and in the Czech 2. Liga from 1999 to 2002. The greatest achievement of the club was finishing runners-up in the 1999–2000 Czech Cup. After relegation from the Second League in 2002, the club struggled with financial problems and further relegations to lower divisions followed. Ratíškovice
Ratíškovice is a municipality and village in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 4,000 inhabitants. Geography Ratíškovice is located about northeast of Hodonín and southeast of Hodonín. It lies in a flat landscape of the Lower Morava Valley. The highest point is the Náklo hill at above sea level. History The first written mention of Ratíškovice is in a deed of bishop Jindřich Zdík from 1141. It is one of the oldest villages in the area. People in Ratíškovice were mainly farmers; they used to grow rye, barley, oat, potatoes, corn, millet and hemp. At the end of the 19th century, they started to work in mines in Dubňany and Milotice. 1999–2000 Czech Cup
The 1999–2000 Czech Cup was the seventh edition of the annual Association football, football knockout tournament organized by the Czech Football Association of the Czech Republic. The Czech Cup (), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It is organised by the Czech Football Association. The Czech Cup was first held in 1961. The winner would then face the winner of the Slovak Cup in the Czechoslovak Cup final. This competition was discontinued in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia into two independent states (Czech Republic and Slovakia). Moravian–Silesian Football League
The Moravian-Silesian Football League (MSFL) () is one of the third level football leagues in the Czech Republic (the other is the Bohemian Football League) headquartered in Olomouc. The league comprises teams from the historic regions of Moravia and Czech Silesia, Silesia and partially also Bohemia. The league was formed in 1991 during the Czechoslovakia era, replacing the former ''II.ČNL'' (II. Česká národni liga; Second Czech National League) at the third tier of Czechoslovak football alongside sister league ČFL. The winner of MSFL is promoted to the Czech National Football League.
