João Pedro Pinto Martins (born 20 June 1982) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Luxembourg club FC RM Hamm Benfica. Born in Portugal, he represented Angola at international level. Club career Martins was born in Lisbon. During his career in Portugal, spent in no higher than the second division and with little impact, he represented S.C. Lourinhanense, F.C. Alverca, G.D. Chaves, C.D. Fátima and G.D. Tourizense. Carlo Weis
Carlo Weis (born 4 December 1958) is a Luxembourgish former professional footballer who played as a defender. He was Luxembourg's most capped player of all-time from November 1995 until Jeff Strasser overtook his tally in 2008. Club career A central defender, Weis started his career at local side Spora Luxembourg before joining Belgian side F.C. Winterslag aged 20. With Winterslag, he reached the round of 16 in the 1981–82 UEFA Cup, having beaten Arsenal in the previous round. He played three seasons for the Genk outfit and then moved across the border to join Stade Reims. He rejoined Spora after only one season in France and played another five seasons for them. After one year at Thionville, he moved on to Avenir Beggen for whom he played eight seasons, interrupted by two seasons at Sporting Mertzig where he also took up the manager's post. The National Division (, , ), known as the BGL Ligue for sponsorship reasons, is the highest association football, football league in Luxembourg. Until 2011, it was known as the BGL Ligue, after the Luxembourg Football Federation managed to seal a sponsorship deal with Fortis (finance), Fortis. Before 2006, it contained twelve teams, but it expanded to fourteen for the 2006–07 Luxembourg National Division, 2006–07 season. Cents, Luxembourg
Cents (, ) is a quarter in eastern Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. , the quarter has a population of 6,517 inhabitants. It is the only quarter of Luxembourg City where a majority of residents are of Luxembourgish nationality. The area lies on the eastern side of the city, on an elevated area 60 metres above Clausen and Neudorf. History The name ''Cents'' probably goes back to a tax, which the tenants of the Fetschenhof and its fields had to pay to the Altmünster Abbey. In August 1255 Elisabeth, widow of the alderman Walter, had bequeathed 14 morgens of land on the ''Kuhberg'' to the nuns of the Abbey of the Holy Ghost in Luxembourg. Forty years later, on 6 Januar 1292 the rich townsman Philip a.k.a. Girardeus gave the ''Fetschenscheuer'' and its land to the Altmünster Abbey.
