Excalibur (wrestler)
Marc Letzmann (born July 16, 1980), better known by his ring name Excalibur, is an American former professional wrestler and current play-by-play commentator for All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is one of the six founders of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, where he continues to work as the company's " Liaison to the Board of Directors". After retiring from in-ring competition in 2007, he became the company's lead play-by-play commentator. Professional wrestling career Early career While writing for a wrestling video game website, Excalibur met Super Dragon online. Through chatting online, the two became friends and it helped spark the beginning of Excalibur's career. PWG World Championship
The PWG World Championship is a professional wrestling world championship in the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) professional wrestling promotion. It was first introduced in 2003 as the PWG Championship. The inaugural champion was Frankie Kazarian. The current champion is Daniel Garcia, who is in his first reign. History The title became known under its current name in February 2006, when PWG had a two-event European Vacation tour stopping in Essen, Germany and Orpington, England. The title has also been defended in Japan in the Dragon Gate promotion, as well as in the United Kingdom in 1PW and again on PWG's ''European Vacation II'' tour in Paris, France, Portsmouth, England and Essen, Germany. Rick John Clements is an American retired professional wrestler better known by his ring name Quicksilver. He was based out of the California independent circuit, working for promotions such as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and SoCal Uncensored, but also worked for East Coast promotions such as Jersey All Pro Wrestling and Combat Zone Wrestling. He is also known for his appearances with Wrestling Society X under the ring name El Hombre Blanco Enmascarado. Peter Williams III (born August 26, 1981) is a Canadian professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE as a backstage producer. He is best known for his time in Impact Wrestling, where he is a two-time X Division Champion. He is also known for his time in Lucha Libre USA (LLUSA), where he held the Tag Team Championship with Jon Rekon. Wesley David Richards (born March 1, 1983) is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Major League Wrestling (MLW), under the ring name Davey Richards, and is the current MLW National Openweight Champion in his first reign. Chris Sabin
Joshua Harter (born February 4, 1982), better known by his ring name Chris Sabin, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling, and is also known for his work in Ring of Honor. After being trained by Scott D'Amore, Sabin debuted in 2000 for Border City Wrestling (BCW), and quickly began competing for numerous other independent promotions. In 2003, Sabin joined TNA, and quickly won the TNA X Division Championship, which he later unified with the WWA International Cruiserweight Championship. In 2004, he also wrestled for Ring of Honor. The Battle of Los Angeles tournament (the BOLA) is an annual independent wrestling tournament in North America, run and promoted by Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Over the years, the tournament has featured numerous notable wrestlers such as famous Total Nonstop Action Wrestling stars A.J. Just about any singles or melee match type can be adapted to tag teams; for example, hardcore tag team matches are commonplace. Rami Sebei ( ar, رامي سبعي; born July 12, 1984) is a Canadian professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Sami Zayn, and is a member of The Bloodline. Prior to joining WWE, Sebei wrestled for Ring of Honor under the ring name El Generico, using the character of a '' luchador'' from Mexico with the catchphrase "Olé!" In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. "The role of a heel is to get 'heat,' which means spurring the crowd to obstreperous hatred, and generally involves cheating and pretty much any other manner of socially unacceptable behavior that will get the job done."
