Other villages in Evenes include Liland, Tårstad, Dragvik, and the village of Evenes. The municipality is the 285th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Evenes is the 307th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 1,334. Bogen, Evenes

Troms
Troms (; se, Romsa; fkv, Tromssa; fi, Tromssa) is a former county in northern Norway. On 1 January 2020 it was merged with the neighboring Finnmark county to create the new Troms og Finnmark county. This merger is expected to be reversed by the government resulting from the 2021 Norwegian parliamentary election. It bordered Finnmark county to the northeast and Nordland county in the southwest. Ofoten is a traditional district in Nordland county in Northern Norway. It consists of the municipalities of Tysfjord, Ballangen, Evenes, Tjeldsund, Narvik, and Lødingen. Evenes Church
Evenes Church ( no, Evenes kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Evenes Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Evenes, along the northern shore of the Ofotfjorden. It is the church for the Evenes parish which is part of the Ofoten prosti ( deanery) in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white, wooden church was built in a cruciform style in 1800 using plans drawn up by the architect Johan Bernhard Kreutzer. The church seats about 460 people. History The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to 1589, but the historical Saga of Haakon Haakonarson says that King Haakon IV of Norway built a church in Evenes around the year 1250.
