Evan Dimas Darmono (born 13 March 1995) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga 1 club Arema and the Indonesia national team. He plays mainly as a central midfielder, but can also play as an attacking midfielder or as a defensive midfielder. Personal life Evan Dimas was born in the city of Surabaya in East Java province to a low-income family that once depended on his father Condro Darmono's job as a security guard. As one of the highest paid Indonesian footballers, Evan is now the breadwinner of his extensive family. He is a devout Muslim who celebrates every goal by performing the Sujud. 2013 AFF U-19 Youth Championship
The 2013 AFF U-19 Youth Championship was held from 9 September to 22 September 2013, hosted by Indonesia. 11 members of the ASEAN Football Federation were divided into two groups. Australia, originally drawn in Group A, withdrew on 8 September 2013, citing lack of preparations. Indonesia won the tournament after defeating unbeaten team, Vietnam, through a penalty shoot-out. 2020 AFF Championship
The 2020 AFF Championship (officially AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 for sponsorship reasons) was the 13th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of nations affiliated to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), the 7th and the last edition under the name AFF Suzuki Cup. The final tournament was originally scheduled to run from 23 November to 31 December 2020. However the tournament was postponed and rescheduled at least twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic; the tournament was first rescheduled to run from 11 April to 8 May 2021 and the schedule later pushed backed further to 5 December 2021 to 1 January 2022. The 2016 AFF Championship, sponsored by Suzuki and officially known as the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016, was the 11th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of nations affiliated to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The ASEAN Football Federation Championship (less formally the AFF Championship or AFF Cup), currently known as the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup for sponsorship reason, is the primary association football tournament organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). A biennial international association football competition, it is contested by the men's national teams of the AFF to determe the sub-continental champion of Southeast Asia. Football At The 2019 Southeast Asian Games
Football at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games were held across three venues in the Philippines; the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, Biñan Football Stadium in Biñan, Laguna, and the City of Imus Grandstand, Imus for the men's tournament. The women's tournament was held in Manila and Biñan. Vietnam won gold in both men's and women's tournaments, beating Indonesia and Thailand respectively.
