Estói
Estoi () is a former civil parish in the municipality of Faro, in the Algarve, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Conceição e Estoi. The parish, which includes an area of approximately , had a population of 3,538 at the 2001 census. The name of the parish, which was formerly spelled "Estói", was changed in 2004. Geography Estoi is a village and parish in the municipality of Faro, a rural zone that extends from the fertile fields of ''Campina de Faro'', until the peaks of Serra do Monte Figo (Cerros de São Miguel, Azinheiro, Malhão, Bemposta, Monteiro and Guelhim), that have been, since antiquity, beacons for navigation and natural outlooks along the coast of the Algarvian Riviera. Faro ( , ) is a municipality, the southernmost city and capital of the district of the same name, in the Algarve region of southern Portugal.
