Esther Haase
Esther Haase is a German photographer. Biography Haase was born in Bremen, the first daughter of illustrator Sibylle Haase-Knels and Fritz Haase. Her father worked as a professor of communication design at the University of the Arts Bremen. In 1963 her parents founded a studio for design. Haase spent her childhood in Bremen. After professional training in modern dance in Cologne, she spent two years (1986–1989) on-stage, joining the dance group of the Goethe Theatre, Bremen. From 1988 to 1993, she studied graphic design with a focus on photography at the University of the Arts Bremen. Work Whilst studying at the University of the Arts, Haase was trainee at the art department of ''Men's Vogue'' in Munich. After graduation she moved to Berlin and started working internationally as a freelance photographer. Bremen ( Low German also: ''Breem'' or ''Bräm''), officially the City Municipality of Bremen (german: Stadtgemeinde Bremen, ), is the capital of the German state Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (''Freie Hansestadt Bremen''), a two-city-state consisting of the cities of Bremen and Bremerhaven.
