Erin Pearl
Erin Pearl (born May 3, 1982 in Scarborough, Maine) is an American former competitive figure skater. She won two bronze medals at the ISU Junior Grand Prix in Slovakia (1997, 1998) and two junior medals at the U.S. Championships (silver in 1997, bronze in 1998). In 1999, she competed at the inaugural Four Continents Championships, finishing 4th. Pearl was coached by Richard Callaghan, Mitch Moyer, and Debra Coppinger in Rochester Hills, Michigan. In 2000, she retired from competition due to an injury. Richard Callaghan
Richard Callaghan is an American figure skating coach. He is best known as the long-time coach of Todd Eldredge, the 1996 World champion and a six-time U.S. national champion. He also coached Nicole Bobek to her national title, and Tara Lipinski to Olympic, World, and national titles. Several of Callaghan's former students have accused him of sexually abusing them as minors. Following an investigation into his conduct sparked by allegations reported to the United States Center for SafeSport by a former student, and a decision by an arbitrator, Callaghan was subjected to a three-year suspension, 15-year probation, and 100 hours of community service. Biography As a competitive skater, Callaghan was coached by Don Laws. His best finish was 5th at the 1965 U.S. Championships. Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The Four Continents Figure Skating Championships (4CC) is an annual figure skating competition. The International Skating Union established it in 1999 to provide skaters representing non-African and non-European countries with a similar competition to the much older European Figure Skating Championships. The event's name refers to North America and South America are both the Americas, Asia and Oceania (four of the continents represented in the Olympic rings, omitting Africa and Europe). Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. Historically, the 4CC has been dominated by just four countries – Canada, China, Japan, and the United States – which have won a combined 267 out of 276 possible medals. Olga Algertovna Volozhinskaya ( et, Olga Voložinskaja; russian: Ольга Альгертовна Воложинская, born 18 May 1962) is a former ice dancer who competed for the Soviet Union.
