Erik Rasmussen (footballer)
Erik Sandvad Rasmussen (born 24 December 1960), nicknamed "''The Wizard''" and "''TryllErik''", is a former Danish football player and manager. He played two games for the Denmark national football team. In March 2014 it was announced that he would be a 2014 inductee into the Indoor Soccer Hall of Fame. Player During his active career, he was a forward for Danish clubs Køge, Herfølge, Frem and Brøndby. In 1984, Rasmussen moved to the United States and signed with the Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League. He played five seasons for the Wings. In 1988, he was the league's points leader and was named the MISL MVP. In September 1989, but returned to Denmark and signed with Brøndby in order to make himself available to play for the national team. In January 1998, he returned to the Wichita Wings who were now playing in the National Professional Soccer League. He played for the Wings through the 1998–1999 season. Benny Nielsen (footballer, Born 17 March 1951)
Jørgen "Benny" Nielsen (born 17 March 1951) is a Danish former football player. His position on the field was usually striker, although he also could play as midfielder. Nielsen played 28 matches for Denmark, scoring 7 goals. He made his début against Scotland in a 1–0 loss. Nielsen started playing football with Brederød IF. He made his a-team début with AB. In 1971, he left Denmark for Belgium. His Belgian career took off immediately, with a hat trick in a cup match against SK Gullegem. One season later, fellow Dane Morten Olsen became Nielsen's teammate. In 1974, Nielsen went to RWDM. The team became national champions that season. Just like with Cercle, Nielsen would also stay three seasons for the Brussels team RWDM, as he went to their main rivals Anderlecht. The 1st Division (''1. Division'') is the second-highest football league in Denmark, also known as NordicBet Liga for sponsorship reasons. From 1945 to 1991 the 1. The 2006–07 Danish Superliga season was the 17th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, which determined the winners of the Danish football championship.
