EDP Renewables North America (former names: Zilkha Renewable Energy and Horizon Wind Energy) and its subsidiaries develop, construct, own, and operate wind farms and solar parks throughout North America. Renewable energy is energy that is collected from renewable resources that are naturally replenished on a human timescale. Wind is the natural movement of air or other gases relative to a planet's surface.
