''Ezhamkadalinakkare'' is a 1979 Indian Malayalam film, directed by I. V. Sasi and produced by N. G. John. The film stars K. R. Vijaya in the lead role, whereas supporting roles were played by Soman, Seema, Ravikumar, Vidhubala, P. Bhaskaran, Henry Marsal, Janardanan and Jo Washington. The film has musical score by M. S. Viswanathan. It is the first Malayalam film to be shot in North America, with Manhattan being one of its locations. The song "Suralokajaladhaara" was filmed near in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Janardhanan Nair (born 5 May 1946) is an Indian actor, producer and a former Indian Airforce personnel who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. He acted in his first feature film ''Adyathe Kadha'', directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan in 1971, he acted in more than 700 films. He started his career when Malayalam films were made in black and white. He is known for his style of handling humour and his iconic voice. Shanthakumari Nambiar (born 22 May 1951), known by her stage name Seema, is an Indian actress. She has acted in 260 films in Malayalam, 25 in Tamil, 7 in Telugu, 6 in Kannada and one in Hindi. Veteran actor Vijayan gave her the screen name Seema.Bringing a remarkable change in the style of acting from traditional Malayalam movies at that time, she was considered as the top and most popular actress of her time. K. Ramachandra Babu (15 December 1947 – 21 December 2019) was an Indian cinematographer of over 125 films, out of which most are Malayalam films. He also worked for films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Arabic and English languages. He served as the cinematographer for several documentaries and advertisement films as well.
