The European Parliament Ambassador School programme (EPAS) is an Educational program, educational programme for Secondary school, secondary schools and College, colleges in the European Union and the United Kingdom run by the European Parliament. The programme aims to improve students' Political education, political knowledge and Political participation, participation by educating them about the system of parliamentary democracy across Europe, as well as what the European Parliament views as the values of European citizenship. EPAS was launched in the Netherlands in 2010 as the Een 10 voor Europa programme, which aimed to educate Dutch secondary school students about Europe and European cooperation, as well as how the EU influences their Everyday life, everyday lives. 2019 European Parliament Election
The 2019 European Parliament election was held in the European Union (EU) between 23 and 26 May 2019. It was the ninth parliamentary election since the first direct elections in 1979. Two Schools Under One Roof
Two schools under one roof is a term for schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina based on the ethnic segregation of children on the pretext of speaking different languages. Children from two ethnic groups, Bosniaks and Croats, attend classes in the same building, but physically separated from each other and taught separate curricula. Children from one ethnic group enter the school through one door, while children from other ethnic group through another. In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 57 schools operated in this way in the year 2010. Students have been protesting against the segregation for years, warning that it increases inter-ethnic hatred. By 2018, 56 such schools remained.
