The European Festival Awards were initiated in 2010 by the European festival association Yourope and the festival website Virtual Festivals Europe. The awards are presented annually in January of the following year at the European music conference and showcase festival Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen, The Netherlands. The European Festival Awards are aimed at European Festivals and their organizations, who make an important contribution to society. OFF Festival
OFF Festival is an alternative music festival series held annually since 2006. Until 2009 it was held at Słupna Park in Mysłowice, Poland in August and lasts four days. OFF Festival from 2010 takes place in Katowice in Dolina Trzech Stawow. The organizer and creative director of this festival is Artur Rojek, former leader of the bands Myslovitz and Lenny Valentino. In addition to the music, the OFF Festival also support a variety of independent arts and culture events, like exhibitions, workshops and movie screenings. It is also connected with promotion of volunteer programs. History The first edition of OFF Festival was held from 18–20 August 2006. Ruisrock is a rock festival held annually on the island of Ruissalo in Turku, Finland. Ruisrock, founded in 1970, is the second-oldest rock festival in Europe (after Pinkpop) and the oldest in Finland. Roadburn Festival
The Roadburn Festival is an annual music festival held each April in Tilburg, Netherlands. It was founded by Walter Hoeijmakers and Jurgen van den Brand in 1999, who ran a stoner rock blog of the same name. The festival has been held at Tilburg's 013 concert hall since 2005. In the earliest years before that, multiple events were organised in a year throughout various cities in the Netherlands, such as Nijmegen and Eindhoven. No Sleep Festival () is a fall music festival which is held in the city of Belgrade, Serbia. The festival was founded in 2017 in Novi Sad as a part of the Exit (festival), EXIT Festival, influenced by the festival's No Sleep Novi Sad stage, which was introduced in 2002 as HappyNoviSad stage. Arsenal Fest ( sr-cyr, Арсенал Фест) is a summer music festival held in Kragujevac, Serbia. It is staged annually since 2011 and occurs for three days every late June.
