Eugène Gerards
Eugène 'Gène' Gerards (7 May 1940 − 2 January 2018) was a Dutch Association football, football player, manager and scout. As a player, Gerards played for Limburg (Netherlands), Limburgian clubs SV Limburgia and Fortuna '54. As a manager, he spent the majority of his career in Greece, where he acquired citizenship and was a successful head coach for Crete, Cretan club OFI Crete F.C., OFI for 15 years. Playing career Gène Gerards began his career at SV Limburgia, Limburgia as a defender-turned-striker in 1957. In 1963 he moved to Fortuna '54, before returning to Limburgia in 1967. He followed the club to amateur competitions in 1971 and retired in 1974. Gerards was a member of the Dutch national military team, as well as the Netherlands national under-21 football team. Frans Körver
Franciscus Arnoldus Mattheus Körver (31 July 1937 – 14 December 2024) was a Dutch professional football player and manager. Career Körver made his debut for Sittardia in 1959 and played over 50 matches for the club before joining Limburg rivals MVV. He played 396 games in 13 years for the Maastricht side, before becoming assistant manager at the club. During the 1980s and 1990s, Körver guided five Dutch league teams to six promotions from the Eerste Divisie to the Eredivisie – FC Wageningen, Fortuna Sittard, MVV Maastricht (twice), VVV-Venlo and De Graafschap. Hans Eijkenbroek
Hans Eijkenbroek (5 January 1940 – 17 August 2024) was a Dutch football player and manager. Playing career Club Born in Schiedam, he started his career at local side Hermes DVS and was scouted by Sparta Rotterdam legend Denis Neville in 1962. With Sparta he played in two KNVB Cup Finals, winning one. He was Sparta captain when goalkeeper Eddy Treijtel shot down a gull from a goal-kick during a derby match against Feyenoord in 1970. Eijkenbroek subsequently threw the bird off the pitch only for a Sparta employee to have it stuffed and put in either Sparta's or Feyenoord's club museum. Nicknamed ''De Eijk'', he also played for Willem II. Piet de Visser (born 23 September 1934) is a Dutch football manager and scout. He is best known for scouting players like Ronaldo and successfully bringing them to Europe. He is currently a personal adviser to Roman Abramovich, the former owner of English Premier League club Chelsea.
