Emitter Turn Off Thyristor
The Emitter Turn Off Thyristor (ETO) is a type of thyristor that uses a MOSFET to turn on and turn off. It combines the advantages of both the Gate turn-off thyristor, GTO and MOSFET. It has two gates - one normal gate for turn on and one with a series MOSFET for turn off.Rashid, Muhammad H.(2011); ''Power Electronics (3rd ed.)''. Pearson, History The first generation ETO was developed by Prof. Alex Q. Huang in the Center for Power Electronics, Virginia Tech, in 1996. Although the ETO concept was demonstrated, the first-generation ETO had limitations that prevented high-power applications. The device rating was later improved to 4500V/4000A. Device Description Turn On An ETO is turned ON by applying positive voltages to Gate (transistor), gates, gate 1, and gate 2. When a positive voltage is applied to gate 2, it turns on the MOSFET that is connected in series with the cathode terminal of the PNPN thyristor structure. The positive voltage applied to gate 1 turns off the MOSFET ...

Ethylene Oxide
Ethylene oxide is an organic compound with the chemical formula, formula . It is a cyclic ether and the simplest epoxide: a three-membered ring (chemistry), ring consisting of one oxygen atom and two carbon atoms. Ethylene oxide is a colorless and flammable gas with a faintly sweet odor. Because it is a strained ring, ethylene oxide easily participates in a number of addition reactions that result in ring-opening. Ethylene oxide is isomeric with acetaldehyde and with vinyl alcohol. Ethylene oxide is industrially produced by oxidation of ethylene in the presence of a silver catalyst. The reactivity that is responsible for many of ethylene oxide's hazards also makes it useful. Although too dangerous for direct household use and generally unfamiliar to consumers, ethylene oxide is used for making many consumer products as well as non-consumer chemicals and intermediates. These products include detergents, thickeners, solvents, plastics, and various organic chemicals such as ethylen ...

RUNX1T1
Protein CBFA2T1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ''RUNX1T1'' gene. Function The protein encoded by this gene is a putative zinc finger transcription factor and oncoprotein. In acute myeloid leukemia, especially in the M2 subtype, the t(8;21)(q22;q22) translocation is one of the most frequent karyotypic abnormalities. The translocation produces a chimeric gene made up of the 5'-region of the RUNX1 gene fused to the 3'-region of this gene. The chimeric protein is thought to associate with the nuclear corepressor/histone deacetylase complex to block hematopoietic differentiation. Several transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been found for this gene. Interactions RUNX1T1 has been shown to interact with: * CBFA2T2, * CBFA2T3, * Calcitriol receptor * GFI1, * Nuclear receptor co-repressor 1, * Nuclear receptor co-repressor 2, * PRKAR2A, and * Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 16 Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 16 is ...

Electro-technical Officer
The Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) is a licensed member of the engine department of a merchant ship as per Section A-III/6 of the STCW Code. The Marine Electrical Engineer is a vital positions in the technical hierarchy of a ship and is constrained by their assigned work under the Chief Engineer's overview.Škrlec, Zoran, Zlatimir Bićanić, and Joško Tadic. "Maritime cyber defense." In ''6th International Maritime Science Conference'', p. 19. 2014. An ETO manages a key role in the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the Chief Engineer. An ETO does not carry out an assigned Engine room "watch" instead they are normally on call 24 hours a day and generally work a daily shift carrying out electrical and electronic maintenance, repairs, diagnosis, installations and testing. Some shipping companies do not carry Electrical Engineer Officers/ETOs on their ship to cut down the manning cost, and the electrical duties are instead carried out by a Marine Engineer - usual ...

Engineer To Order
Engineer to order is a production approach characterized by: #Engineering activities need to be added to product lead time. #Upon receipt of a customer order, the order engineering requirements and specifications are not known in detail. There is a substantial amount of design and engineering analysis required. To speed up delivery time, the adoption of concurrent engineering, integrated product team, and lean product development methodologies are used. The critical path methodology is also essential. To speed up the delivery time, many companies use customization approach (In SAP terminology it is called Variant configuration) where in, the most part of the BOM components and routing operation elements could be created automatically based on the design inputs received during quote/sales order stage. This approach speedup the BOM and routing creation process, there by help ETO companies to respond quickly to customer requirement. Engineer to order environments must employ a fle ...

From 2002 its director was James Conway, who came from the Opera Theatre of Ireland. It was announced in January 2022 that he was stepping down, and his successor was revealed in March 2022 as Robin Norton-Hale. Eton Language
Eton, or Ìtón, is a Bantu language spoken by the Eton people of Cameroon.Velde, Mark L. O. Van de. ''A Grammar of Eton'', p. 3 It is mutually intelligible with Ewondo, a fact which may have delayed its study for some time. Eton speakers inhabit the Lekié department of the Centre Region of Cameroon, an area north of the capital Yaoundé bounded in the north by the Sanaga River. Ethnologue cites four dialects of Eton, but its speakers generally distinguish two, a northern and a southern dialect, the latter of which is closer to the Ewondo language. The Mengisa people have largely switched to Eton. A small number continue to speak their ancestral language, Leti. It is not clear if the ISO code for "Mengisa" refers to Eton or Leti; ''Ethnologue'' classifies Mengisa with Eton, but the code is likely based on Guthrie, who classified it with Leti.Hammarström (2015) Ethnologue 16/17/18th editions: a comprehensive review: online appendices Phonology Eton is a tone langua ...
