Erik Scott
Erik Scott (January 17, 1948 – October 11, 2019) was an American bassist, record producer, and songwriter. Scott played bass for the band Flo & Eddie in the 1970s as well as Alice Cooper in the early 1980s, for whom he also produced. In the 1990s he was one of the founding members of Sonia Dada, which reached the number one position on the Australian music charts with their Sonia Dada (album), eponymous debut studio album. Scott was also the co-writer of the song "Father, Father", which was the title track for the Pops Staples' album of the same name, winner of the 1994 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. In 2008 he became a solo artist as well, with his debut studio album ''Other Planets''. John Nitzinger
John Nitzinger (born August 29, 1948) is an American blues rock guitarist, recording artist and songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas. Career In the mid-1960s, Nitzinger began his career as a performer touring with Bruce Channel, and became something of a local star with his band "The Barons", releasing several singles before breaking up. In 1968, Nitzinger recorded two singles, "Plastic Window" and "Life of John Doe", which were produced by T Bone Burnett. In the early 1970s, Nitzinger helped pen songs on four albums for the Fort Worth band Bloodrock. When Bloodrock 2 went Gold, Nitzinger signed a contract with Capitol Records and his first album, the self-titled ''Nitzinger'', was released in early 1972. ''Alice Cooper a Paris'' (more commonly known as ''Alice in Paris'') is a French television special starring shock-rocker Alice Cooper. A series of music videos of songs from his then-current album ''Special Forces'' (1981) with a few songs from ''Flush the Fashion'' (1980) and some older hits mixed in, several songs were re-recorded for the special (" Only Women Bleed", "I'm Eighteen", "Billion Dollar Babies", " School's Out") and have shown up as B-sides of singles with crowd noises mixed in to give the illusion that they were live recordings. Background and recording The album was co-produced by bassist Erik Scott alongside Cooper, who blended new wave and pop rock music into his hard rock style in an attempt to keep up with changing musical trends.
