Enrik Garcia
Dark Moor is a Spanish symphonic power metal band from Madrid. Formed in 1993, they produced three full-length albums before undergoing a line-up change in which three members left the band to form their own project, Dreamaker. Afterwards, the band continued under the same name, recruiting suitable replacements in time for their eponymous 2003 album. Since 2002, guitarist Enrik Garcia has been the band's sole remaining founding member. Background Dark Moor was formed in 1993 in Madrid, Spain, and recorded their debut album, '' Shadowland'', in the summer of 1999. Dark Moor played live supporting Demons and Wizards on their Spanish tour. Dark Moor began the recording sessions for their second album, ''The Hall of the Olden Dreams'', in August 2000 at New Sin Studios with producer Luigi Stefanini. ''Tarot'' is the sixth full-length album by the Spanish power metal band Dark Moor. The songs of the album are all named after the Major Arcana deck in the Tarot card game. The first single extracted from the album was "The Chariot". Manda Ophuis of the Dutch symphonic metal band Nemesea is the guest female vocalist on ''Tarot''. The final track, "the Moon", samples Ludwig van Beethoven's "Symphony No. 5" and "Moonlight Sonata". The bonus track, "Mozart's March" is based on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Rondo A'la Turca". The recording of this album was announced in early 2008, with constant updates posted on their website since then. The title of the album was revealed on November 16, 2008, on Dark Moor's website, along with the cover art and the official track listing. The first single from the album, "On the Hill of Dreams" was posted on their Myspace one month later on December 16, 2008. Towards the end of the year, December 29, it was revealed that Dani Fernandez would no longer be playing with them. The next day, they announced Dark Moor's new bassist would be Mario Garcia.
