Ennai Pol Oruvan
''Ennai Pol Oruvan'' () is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by T. R. Ramanna and written by Sathi Krishnasamy. A remake of Bengali film ''Taasher Ghar'' (1957), the film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Saratha, Ushanandini and Aalam. It was released on 18 March 1978, and performed above average at the box office. Plot Cast Production ''Ennai Pol Oruvan'' finished production in the mid-1976, but released only in 1978. The film's similarities to '' Dharisanam'' (1970) were noted as both films revolve around lookalikes who are not related, but had different screen plays. Soundtrack The music was composed by M. S. Arumugam Mohanasundaram (8 February 1928 – 16 September 2012), popularly known as Loose Mohan was an Indian actor who had acted as a comedian in over 1000 Tamil films. He is credited with popularizing Madras Bashai, a dialect of Tamil language spoken in Chennai city. Early life Born in Kanchipuram, son of old actor "Loose Arumugam", Mohan migrated to Madras at an early age and debuted at age 16 in the 1944 film ''Harichandra'' as P. U. Chinnappa's son. Thirupparaithurai Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (29October 193118July 2013) was an Indian poet who has the record for writing the most songs in Tamil cinema. A raga ( ; , ; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. It is central to classical Indian music.
