Emmanuelle Khanh
Emmanuelle Khanh (12 September 1937 – 17 February 2017) was a French fashion designer, stylist and model. She was particularly known for her distinctive outsize eyewear, and was considered one of the leading young designers of the 1960s New Wave movement in France. Early life Born Renée Georgette Jeanne Mézière in Paris on 12 September 1937, and nicknamed Nono, her father René worked for the French Resistance newspaper ''Combat''. Her mother, Ernestine, died when Renée was 10 years old. In 1957 she married the engineer, inventor and designer Nguyen Manh Khanh, known for his inflatable furniture and a square transparent car called the Quasar-Unipower or ''The Cube''. Missoni is an Italian luxury fashion house based in Varese, Italy, Varese, and known for its colourful knitwear designs. Manfred Thierry Mugler (; 21 December 1948 – 23 January 2022) was a French fashion designer, creative director and creative adviser of Mugler. Issey Miyake
was a Japanese fashion designer. He was known for his technology-driven clothing designs, exhibitions and fragrances, such as '' L'eau d'Issey'', which became his best-known product. Early life and education Miyake was born on 22 April 1938 in Hiroshima. He was still living in the city seven years later when the U.S. military dropped an atomic bomb there in August 1945. Ossie Clark
Raymond "Ossie" Clark (9 June 1942 – 6 August 1996) was a British fashion designer who was a major figure in the Swinging Sixties scene in London and the fashion industry in that era. Clark is now renowned for his vintage designs by present-day designers. Michèle Rosier (; born Michèle Raudnitz, 3 June 1929 – 2 April 2017) was a French fashion journalist and designer who founded the V de V sportswear label. Valerie Fahnestock Steele (born 1955) is an American fashion historian, curator, and director of the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
