Emdadul Haque Chowdhury
Emdadul Haque Chowdhury (born 1966) is a Bangladeshi academic and a former vice-chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University. Early life Chowdhury completed his undergrad in veterinary medicine and masters in veterinary science at the Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). He did his PhD at the Institute of Veterinary Pathology in the University of Zurich. He did his postdoc at the National Institute of Animal Health in Japan. Career Chowdhury joined the BAU as a lecturer on 1 April 1995. He was promoted to assistant professor on 27 April 1999. On 27 January 2004, Chowdhury was promoted to associate professor. He became a full professor on 27 January 2008. He is a patron of HOPES Foundation. Bangladesh Agricultural University
Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) is a Public university, public agricultural university in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. It was founded in 1961 by the Pakistani government as East Pakistan Agricultural University. It is the third-oldest university in the country. Its campus covers on the west bank of the Old Brahmaputra River. Its academic activities take place under six faculties, which are subdivided into 45 departments. Faridpur District
Faridpur District () is a district in south-central Bangladesh. It is a part of Dhaka Division. It is bounded by the Padma River to the northeast. East Pakistan was the eastern province of Pakistan between 1955 and 1971, restructured and renamed from the province of East Bengal and covering the territory of the modern country of Bangladesh. Non-cooperation Movement (2024)
The non-cooperation movement, also known as the one-point movement, was a pro-democratic disinvestment movement and a mass uprising against the Awami League-led government of Bangladesh, initiated within the framework of 2024 Bangladesh quota reform movement. The sole demand of this movement was the resignation of Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Fifth Hasina ministry, her cabinet. It was the final stage of the wider movement known as the July Revolution (Bangladesh), July Revolution.
